Established senior stars like Grace Sullivan will square off with each other and with newcomer Maddie McHugh.
For the next four Tuesdays, NCRunners will spotlight each of the four class years of current runners, starting with this year's seniors. Remember that athletes will not show in any rankings that are sorted by grade unless they have graduation years entered on their profiles.
Girls Class of 2015
A senior class that already included 5 sub-18 runners got even stronger when Maddie McHugh moved to the state from Connecticut. With her, the potential exists for North Carolina to have 8 senior girls break through that barrier this season! Grace Sullivan enters the fray in two weekends at the Seahawk Invitational, and Ryen Frazier will most likely start her season at the adidas XC Challenge on the 20th (as she did last fall). At that point, we should have seen all of these outstanding seniors run in major competition at least once, and we'll also see how they stack up against the younger runners in the All-Classes rankings.

Boys Class of 2015
The list of senior boys below doesn't include a new transfer from out of state; instead, it mostly shows familiar returning faces with just a few fast-risers. Philip Hall and Tanis Baldwin ended the 2013 season on top of the rankings, and they started the 2014 season in the same place. Returning seniors like Nick Linder, Ryan Speer, and Peter Millsaps are pretty much right where you would expect them to be at this point in the year. The only two surprises both run for Cardinal Gibbons: David Edwards and JT Klimek are already under 15:55 this season, both significant PR's that have helped boost the Crusaders to the top of the team rankings in this early season.
