What Did We Learn from Weekend 2? It's Never Too Early For Rankings

East Chapel Hill's Boys Are Better Than Expected

The Wildcats earned a ranking of 19th in the Preseason Countdown, but they finished 5th against some of the best teams in the state at the Providence Invitational.  4A West opponent Mount Tabor finished just behind them in 6th, but the Spartans had strong races from two of their "JV" boys in a separate race; when you factor them in, you end up with a virtual tie between the two teams.  That could lead to a very competitive regional meet down the line, especially since Page and RJ Reynolds are capable of joining the fray as the season goes on.
