Of course, nobody really has any idea what's going to happen on the first weekend of the season. Some athletes may be out of town for a final vacation before the school year starts, some may be held out of the race for training purposes (like several of Green Hope's girls last year), and many will not be in race fitness yet. Nonetheless, we can pull a few stats to give you an idea of what to look for at WakeMed on Saturday. NOTE: the actual meet will separate the runners into a 9/10 race and an 11/12 race.
