This is the heart of North Carolina's DRC season - that's "distance running camp" for the uninitiated - with teams and individuals from all over the state spending several days training, learning, and bonding together. There truly is no experience like cross country camp; it is a time when both strength and lasting memories are built, the starting point for friendships and championships. To honor this special occasion, NCRunners is asking runners and coaches to tweet their camp photos into a collective photo stream, using the hashtag #ncxccamp. Include your team name and the name of the camp you're attending, too. Bus ride photos, arrival & check-in photos, workout photos, race photos, and team-building photos - all are welcome! Share your memories, and maybe some team out there that hasn't experienced cross country camp will decide to go to yours next year.
