The #2 sprinter in state history will get to travel to the West Coast for the first of what could be several times this summer.
Graduation prevented Trentavis Friday from competing in the 100 Meter Dash at New Balance Nationals, but he has found a way to make up for that. Friday will be heading to Seattle to run in the Brooks PR Invitational, where he will square off against a field that includes four other guys that have run 10.35 or faster. Later in the summer, Trent expects to compete at the USATF Junior Nationals for a chance to represent his country in the IAAF World Junior Championships.
