Champions Tune-Up Registration Ending Soon

The meet generates strong competition in every event, but has a special reputation for hosting huge mid-distance races.

Regular registration for the Champions Tune-Up ends this Friday, May 23rd (late registration for a higher fee continues through Wednesday, May 28th).  Athletes of all ability levels can participate, and the meet can serve many purposes: one final attempt at a personal or school record, a competitive preparation for those going on to nationals, or just a great ending to your spring season.  The meet has developed a reputation for putting together top-flight mid-distance races - last year, Blake Dodge and John Crossley dropped national-caliber 800 times, while runners like Malia Ellington competed against deep fields in the mile.  This year's meet is following true to form, with Eliza Dekker, Anna Passanante, Dodge, and Ellington already committed to the girls 800, along with Jon Knight, Nick Linder, Christian White, and Elijah Inuwah in the boys 800.

The 2013 meet also featured big names in sprints (Trentavis Friday, Sydnei Murphy, Layla White), Hurdles (Mollie Williams, Lydia Laws, Isaiah Moore), throws (Hailey Cook, Breanna Warren, Khayla Dawson, Winston Craig), and jumps (Moore, Laws, Destinie Sykes).  To enter the meet, email timer Eric Fritz at efritzer@aol.com.  Sign up now and join a great environment with some of the best athletes around the state!
