The discus looks very competitive, especially in the battle for places 4-8, which are separated by only a total of 2 feet. Lexi Thomas (Fayetteville Academy) has the top seed, but she will have to throw well to hold off Harmonee Colbert (Victory Christian Center). The top of the shot put list is pretty crowded, too, with Michelle Pharr (Victory) just ahead of Colbert in the seeding. The 100 Dash looks wide open - top seed Gracie Miller (Burlington Christian) has five challengers within 2 tenths of a second of her. Watch out for O'Neal School teammates Rebecca Wooddell and Destiny Gibson, as their FAT times might be more accurate than the converted hand times of many in the top 6.
