The knock on Guilford County track & field over the past few years has been the lack of top-level distance running talent, and though girls like Blair Ramsay and Sara Platek have definitely changed that perception, the Greensboro-High Point area is still very strong in the sprints and field events. The future looks bright, too, as this was the official coming-out party for Tamara Clark, the High Point Central freshman that has been showing flashes of enormous potential throughout the winter and spring.
