Recruiting Under Way for NCRunners Elite Invitational

The meet returns to the track in 2014, featuring the Frosh/Soph Invitational (the UNOFFICIAL JV State Meet.

After a year on hiatus in 2013, the NCRunners Elite Invitationals return this year, better than ever!  The Track & Field Invitational will be held on Saturday, April 26th, and the Cross Country Carnival will be at Beeson Park on October 11th.  In an effort to rotate the meet around the state and make it accessible to more teams, the spring meet will be located at Green Hope High School in Morrisville this year.  The primary focus of the meet is the Frosh/Soph Invitational, which provides a championship atmosphere for young runners that might not get to compete in their conference or regional meets.  Alongside those future stars there will be a smaller schedule of selected Elite events, with athletes recruited from around the state to try to create the most competitive possible races.  There will also be a limited schedule available for juniors and seniors that need a final race of the regular season, perhaps a last regional qualifying attempt.
