USATF National Junior Olympics Preview

The National Junior Olympics (referred to as "JO's" by veterans) are the culmination of USA Track & Field's youth summer season.  Competition is arranged in to age groups, spanning two years and sorted by year of birth.  NCRunners focuses on middle school and high school competition, so we cover the 13-14 (Youth), 15-16 (Intermediate), and 17-18 (Young Men/Women) age groups.  Participants qualified through regional meets, or though other USATF championship meets (such as Junior Nationals and World Youth Trials).  Below is a brief preview of theathletes from North Carolina that are seeded high in their events and have a chance to compete well.
