Meet Information
Welcome to the 4-19 track meet at Southern Guilford High
located at 5700 Drake Road Greensboro, NC 27406. We are hoping that each team
will enjoy their experience.
We are asking that when travelling on Drake Road, bypass the
circular driveway in front of the school and proceed to the first paved entrance
pass the chain fence on your right next to Drake Road. All activity buses should park in the gravel
parking lot across from the entrance to the softball field and the farthest
tennis court from the front of the school.
We are asking that all teams sit on the visitor's side of
the stadium.
We will have water available on the tables in the middle of
the football field.
Bathrooms are located next to the concession stand.
The concession stand will be open and selling hotdogs, burgers,
drinks, candy and other snacks.
The meet
will start promptly at 5:00 with the running of the 4 x 800m relay and the
field events.
The Men's High
Jump will be first followed by the Women. The Women's long jump first followed by
the men. The men's and women's triple jump will start immediately after the
long jump has concluded. The Men's discus first followed by the Women.
The Women's shot put first followed by the Men. The pole vault will
be contested.
All other running events will start at 5:30.
Women will go first in all running events.
Coach, please use verified times in the
fastest two heats in the 100m, 200m, 400m and 100m and 110 hurdles.
Coach, please tell your relay teams what heat and lane they are in. Relay members will report directly to their
zones. When teams are ready, each exchange judge will give a white flag. In the relays, B teams are allowed but
will not count in the scoring.
4 x 200m relay---1st exchange zone and 3rd exchange
zone Smith High and Eastern High. 2nd
exchange zone (starting line side) Dudley High and Southern High.
4 x 100m relay---- 1st exchange zone Dudley
High and Smith High, 2nd exchange Eastern and Southern, 3rd
exchange zone Smith and Southern.
High Jump-Smith High

Long and triple- Southern High and Dudley High
Pole Vault- Southern High
