ECU Pirate Invitational @ Lake
Kristi 2022
East Carolina University will
be hosting the ECU Pirate Invitational on Friday, October 14th,
2022 at Lake Kristi. Lake Kristi has been used as a venue for
various cross country races including the host site of the 2015
American Athletic Conference Championships & most noteable NCAA
D1 Southeast Regional Championships from 2002-2005. The spectator
friendly golf course is over 99% grass (there is a brief asphalt
crossing). It has rolling hills and turns and produces fast times.

meet is open to all collegiate teams.
Entries:
All team entries will be completed online at
www.directathletics.com.
Unattached athletes will be allowed at the discretion of the games
committee and should contact Coach Billy Caldwell at
caldwellw22@ecu.edu. Entry
Limit: (12
individuals per race)
Deadlines:
All entries are due on Monday, October 10 at noon.
Entry Fee: $250/team
($500 if entering men and women)--paid online through Direct
Athletics.
Check In:
Please be at the starting line 10 minutes prior to the start of your
race.

Kristi will open two hours prior to the first race (2:00 PM).

Women
competitors who do not complete the course in 40 minutes will be
taken off the course and listed as DNF.
