Meet Information
A great season opener for experienced and new runners alike!
The Grizzly Growler is run over the two(2) mile cross country course at Ivey Redmon -- fairly flat & fairly fast.
All races will be run by grade-level. So, freshmen will only be racing other freshmen, sophomores will race sophomores, and so forth.
Each grade level will have a team score based on the top three(3) athletes from a given team in that race in that grade-level. Tie breaks will be made by the team's fourth(4th) runner in that grade-level race.
Overall team awards will be determined by each school's number one runner from each grade level. For example, if a school has a freshman finish 3rd in that race, as sophomore finish 7th, a junior finish 1st, and a senior finish 8th, the team score would be 19. Tie breaks will be determined by the second senior. In theory a school could walk away with a team score of four(4).
Entry fees:
Single gender team -- $60.00
School bringing boys and girls -- $100.00
Individuals -- $15.00
There will be not team walkthroughs. It's a fairly simple & straightforward course:

9:20 -- 10th grade guys
9:45 -- 10th grade girls
10:10 -- 11th grade guys
10:35 -- 11th grade girls
10:50 -- 12th grade guys
11:15 -- 12th grade girls
11:45 -- Awards
