Cabarrus County Cross-Country Championship

Cabarrus County Championship is coming up in early October. This years meet will be hosted at Frank Liske Park.
We have the following 10 schools able to participate:

Central Cabarrus High School Concord High School
Cox Mill High School Hickory Ridge High School
JM Robinson High School Mt Pleasant High School
Northwest Cabarrus High SchoolWest Cabarrus High Shool
Time Schedule - Coaches Meeting at 4:10 PM near the start line
4:30 Mens Varsity Race 5:10 Womens Varsity Race 5:50 Mixed Open Race
Course - Course that starts and finishes by the tennis courts on the left as you enter the park.
Entries - The meet is open for registration on milesplit. All entries need to be loaded by Thursday, September 30th 6:00 PM. A.L. Brown will compile and send out a roster to double check on Monday. No entries day of meet.
Varsity & Open Race - The Varsity race consists of the top 10 runners for each team. By allowing the Varsity to be over 7, the mixed open race should have less numbers. All team members not running in the Varsity race will run for time in the mixed open race.
Awards - Thetop 13+1 individuals will be named to the All Country Cross Country Team and receive a medal. To explain 13+1, the top 13 finishers of each race male/female will each earn a medal. The +1 will be either the 14th finisher OR an athlete whom the coaches all vote for based on season performance but is unable to run in the championship race.
The top scoring team for both the men and women will also receive a trophy & be named Cross Country Champions of Cabarrus County.
Parking - Busses will need to make the first left after entering the park. You will follow this down past the tennis courts (on your left), and park in the lot behind the restrooms and near the playgrounds.
Restrooms - Located just behind the start/finish line
Please help pick up trash upon completion of the event, you will receive a trash bag with your packet pick up.
All participants, coaches and spectators are expected to adhere to the principles of good sportsmanship and NCHSAA guidelines.
