Meet Information

**THIS IS FOR MOUNTAIN VALLEY ATHLETIC CONFERENCE ONLY**

Course
No changes from pre-conference.
Start line:Athletes will need to have masks on at the start line. Team starting boxes will be drawn on meet day. NO spectators/parents may be in the start/finish line area.
Finish line:As soon as athletes cross the finish line, they will turn left into the football field, put their mask back on, and proceed to their team area. They must follow these rules. NO spectators/parents may be at the start/finish line area.
Runners:

Only7runners are allowed to compete and attend. Please do not bring the membersthat are not competing. Again, we are trying to make this as safe as possible for everyone.
Uniforms:
Anything can be worn underneath uniforms. We just need to be able to see their jersey. They can also wear gloves, toboggans, earmuffs, etc.
Registration/Numbers: Roster of numbers and set of bibs will be provided on meet day. We may need a coach or two (or three!) to help us watch for numbers/identify athletes as they finish. Coaches, please be sure yourrunners' uniforms follow theNCHSAA guidelines. Uniformchecks will be made.

Water:Athletes must bring their own water, hand sanitizer, mask, etc. to the race.

Team Areas:Most teams will have a designated area on the tennis courts. Alleghany will be in the area beside the pole vault and high jump area and West will be near the locker room. These areas will be labeled. You may bring your own canopy, if you wish. Girls (except when warming up) should stay in this area during the boys race and vice versa. NO spectators or parents allowed in the Designated Team Area.
Spectators:Max of 100.All spectators MUST be in the bleachers and remain there. Once we reach 100, no more spectators will be allowed inside of the football field. They can, however, stand around the fence or along the course.

=ALL spectators must follow social distancing guidelines at all times, including wearing a cloth face covering while at the facility. We'd appreciate it greatly if you would share this information with your fans.
