Donna Davis Track Invitational

Cost: $20 Per Athletes (Regardless 1 or 4 events)

Instructions: Registration is only through NC Milespilt with fee payment via PayPal.If you do not have a MileSplit account go to, click Login, click Register/Sign up and create your account.Once you register there will be No Refunds!! Payment must be received during the time of the registration. You will not receive an immediate entry confirmation.  DO NOT PAY TWICE!  Refunds are not available.

Event Max Per Athlete: 4

Eligible Athletes: High School Boys and Girls (Middle School athletes are welcomed but must run with High School athletes)  There is a limit of 48 participants per event (revised 6/23).

Entry Deadline is Thursday, June 25 @ 12:00 Noon.

All athletes participate as Unattached (UNA). Athletes will electronically sign the Donna Davis Track Invitational waiver form upon registration. Spectators will sign the waiver form at the entrance gates.

1:00pm-  Long Jump & 1600 meter runners report to front entrance screening station
1:30pm- 1600 meter-Girls then Boys Long Jump
2:20-2:30pm- Awards for 1600 meter , Long Jump
2:30pm- 100 meter runners report to front entrance/screening station

100 meter -Girls

3:40pm-   100 meter -Boys

4:20-4:30pm-  Awards for 100


4:30pm-  400 meter- runners report to front entrance/screening station

5:00pm-   400 meters-Girls

5:15pm- 400 meters-Boys

5:30-5:40pm-  Awards for 400


5:45pm-  800 meter runners report to front entrance/screening station

6:15pm-  800 meters-Girls

6:30pm-  800 meters-Boys

6:45-6:55pm-  Awards for 800

 200 meter. runners report to front entrance/screening station

7:30pm- 200 meters-Girls

8:00pm- 200 meters-Boys

8:30-8:40pm  Awards for 200


8:45-9:00pm-  MVP Awards Ceremony


Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) will be provided for all running events.

Live Results will be available through NC MileSplit.

Special Notes:



  1. Are allowed a maximum of One spectator in order to maintain control of social distancing with

    COVID-19. Must bring a facial mask to cover your face when you are not competing. You will not need to wear face covering when you are competing. Only before and after you cool down.

  2. Must bring your own water bottle (Water will be provided to Refill bottles)

  3. Will be screened by having temperatures taken with non-oral thermometer

  4. Must bring your own Sanitizer and Sanitize hands before and after races


  1. Must wear a mask or facial covering while in the facility.

  2. Will be screened at the entry.

  2. Must practice social distancing for personal safety and in showing

    respect for others. No stadium seating!!!

Facility Rules:

In order to maintain a safe environment as per COVID-19 county and state guidelines, everyone will be screened

(Coaches, Athletes, Staff, and spectators). Any items used during the meet, should be sanitized after every use, or change of hands.

Once coaches, athletes, spectators, event staff enter the facility they can't leave the campus. Rest rooms will be available inside the building.

No Coolers or Tents allowed in the facility

Event Notes:

Medals will be awarded to 1st-3rd Places in each event. 2 MVP's (1 male, 1 female) will be named. MVP's will receive a meet T-shirt.

100 meter dash - use lanes 1,3,5,7 only (May choose to alternate lanes after each heat--2,4,6,8) while blocks are being sanitized from previous heat.

200/400 meter dash -- use lanes 1,3,5 (May choose to alternate after each heat-2,4,6).

800/1600 runs-- starts will be adjusted according to number of entries.

Long Jump will have 2 Pits available on an "open pit" format. Open pit times will be published in the

Final Schedule of Events.

Donna Anita Davis was born on February 8, 1961. She was a mother, sister and daughter. She dedicated her life to serving her community. She died of cancer on July 8, 2000. We dedicate this invitational to her memory and service to helping others. The Donna Davis Cancer Foundation is dedicated to helping individuals and families struggling financially from the effect of debt related to cancer. Her Husband Robert Davis will present the overall male and female MVP with a t-shirt at this event.
