Grizzly Grade-Level Growler 2019

Kernersville, NC

Meet Information

In our first year as a full school, this will be the inaugural offering of this season-opening invitational that we hope to grow into a tradition.

The Grizzly Grade-Level Growler aims to be a fun and accessible way to open your season and put some closure on your summer training.

Not unlike other early-season invites the course will be a shortened (2 mi.) spectator friendly course at Ivey Redmond.

Entries and racing will be grade-level, as the name implies. And there will be multiple ways to win. Individuals will receive medals for the top seven(7) in each race. There will also be awards for the top 2 teams in each grade-level. Since we will be splitting teams among the grades, we will score these races in teams of 3.

The overall winners of the day will be scored by the top finisher from each grade. This will give the younger runners a chance to have an impact on team results that they may not always have an influence on. Therefore, in theory, it will be possible for a team to win with a score of four(4). In the event of a tie, the tie breaker will be the 2nd senior.

Entry Fee: $5 per athlete up to seven(7). More than 7 athletes will be $40 per team. (guys & girls teams are separate entries.)
