Dear Coach:
Your team and you are cordially invited to the 14th Annual Eddie Reneau Invitational Track Meet. This co-ed track meet will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 beginning at 4:00pm. Trophies will be awarded to the top teams.
We do request a donation to the Eddie Reneau Scholarship Fund as a team entry fee. If you nave any questions about this donation, please contact me.
Coaches meeting will be held at 3:30 in the hospitality room (locker room by concession stand). Hospitality room will be for coaches and meet volunteers only. Parking will be located on Vine Street, which is the visitors side of the stadium. We will have the back gate open for coaches and athletes only to enter. We will charge a $5 admission for spectators at the Reneau Gym entrance. The East High track team will have a concession stand running during the course of the meet.
Please limit your participation to three athletes per event or one relay team per relay event. Seeding will take place prior to the meet. Field event participants will check-in with the official of that event.
Eddie Reneau was the head football coach at East Henderson High School from 1999-2002. He passed away unexpectedly on November 12, 2002. A scholarship fund was established by the East Henderson Athletic Department as a tribute to Coach Reneau and his commitment to high school athletics to help deserving student-athletes further their education. To continue this effort we are requesting that each male and female team bring a donation to contribute to this scholarship fund. Money will be collected during the coaches meeting.
