Meet Information
West Meck will host the 2nd annual "Hawk Invitational" on March 25, 2017 @ West Mecklenburg High School in Charlotte, NC.
Last year, we were fortunate to be a host to a variety of schools from all around NC, SC. and VA - including several eventual 2016 state champions!
Open to all HS teams and high school age athletes who compete UNATTACHED. FAT timing provided by our partners at Charlotte Flights Track Club.
We have a fast, 8 lane, rubberized surface with artificial turf. There is plenty of parking and seating for fans to watch great competition and enjoy music throughout the day.
COACHES HOSPITALITY serving a light breakfast and lunch.
ATTENTION COACHES WHO CAN STILL RUN !!! - Last year, we contested an all coaches and weight throwers
4 x 100 relay that went very well. We will run it again- so BE READY!
MEDALS GIVEN TO THE TOP 3 IN ALL EVENTS & SOUVENIR T-SHIRTS FOR SALE.
Entry Fee $70 per gender or $130 for both. Athletes competing individually are $20. Teams consists of 4 or more athletes from the same school.
Cash, Money Order/Cashier's Check, or School Checks accepted ONLY. Pay to the order of: West Meck Booster Club. Payments can be mailed to the school: 7400 Tuckaseegee Rd., Charlotte, NC 28216. ATTN: Coach Willoughby OR coaches may bring it to the meet. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Teams are permitted to enter 3 athletes in all events and have A & B Teams in relay events.
Spectator costs: $5.00
Concessions and vendors with funnel cakes, fish, hamburgers, etc..
