Daniel Moore New CR at Great American

Several Central Florida teams made the trip to Cary, North Carolina for the Great American Cross Country Festival and several came home with new personal bests. The Boys Race of Champions featured a battle between Holy Trinity senior Daniel Moore and nationally ranked Jacob Bucham of Cabell Midland High School in West Virginia. Before the cross country season, Coach Doug Butler said Moore had the potential to re-write the Holy Trinity record books and be one of the best in school history.

5 KY #1's Make Trip to Great American

  A few of Kentucky’s best runners will compete tomorrow at the Great American Cross Country Festival in North Carolina.  Annually it is one of the top meets in the nation attracting many of the best.  Kentucky is well represented by two teams each ranked #1 in the current KYtrackXC.com Power 10 All-Class Rankings and 3 Individual Class #1’s. (AAA #1 Assumption with Coach Joe Newton of York (IL))

Alcorta guides West Springfield to win

West Springfield sophomore Caroline Alcorta, competing in her first season of cross country, won her first invitational race on Saturday at the Hagan Stone Classic in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Hilton Head boys win at Wendy's

CHARLOTTE -- Hilton Head junior Jack Manesiotis led the Seahawks to the boys open team title at Wendy's Invitational, held at McAlpine Park. 

Mann's Miller breaks 18 minutes

CHARLOTTE -- Mann junior Laura Miller ran a personal best time of 17 minutes, 56 seconds to finish fourth in the invitational girls race.
