Tanner Anderson new NC All-Time Record!

East Burke's Tanner Anderson left the crowd at the Blue Devil Track and Field Meet today in Mooresville standing with jaws dropped. Tanner had the stadium clapping and screaming as he attempting to clear 7-4 in the boys high jump. This was after he cleared 7-3.25 which set a new North Carolina All-Time record. The previous record was set by Broughton's Jesse Williams, 7-3, who just won the US Indoor Title earlier this year.

Look for more to come on Tanner as NCRunners.com plans to interview him early this week.

Note: Leaving the track today we all thought this was a US #1, but less than an hour after Tanner's clearance, Doug Smith of GA jumped 7-4. They are the only two athletes over 7-2 this year.
