The High Point University men's track & field team had several athletes competing in the adidas Raleigh Relays on Friday at NC State. Freshman
Dakota Peachee took 13th in his heat of the 5,000-meter and junior
Justin Conaway placed 25th in the 100-meter dash.
Peachee ran a career-best 15:11.02 in the 5,000-meter to place 13th in section three. Earlier in the day, sophomore
Mike Ali placed 18th in his section of the 5,000-meter.
Conaway clocked in at 10.94 in the 100-meter dash to place 25th. Sophomore
Sebastien Bonnot ran 11.76 in the 100-meter dash and ran a time of 52.28 in the 400-meter.
Sophomore Ben AuYeung competed in both the long jump and discus for the Panthers.
On Saturday, freshman
Josh Pelletier and AuYeung will start the day competing in the javelin at 10 a.m. at the adidas Raleigh Relays. HPU will feature four runners in both the 1,500-meter and 800-meter, including
Corey Grove and
Josh Cashman, who will each run both events.
