GREENSBORO, N.C. - Duke women's cross country runner Carly Seymour has earned Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Performer of the Week honors the league announced on Monday.

Seymour, a sophomore, led the 29th-ranked Blue Devils to the team championship in this past weekend's Wisconsin adidas Invite in Madison, Wis.  The Edensburg, Pa., native led the way for Duke with a third-place finish out of 123 competitors from 13 teams. Seymour finished the 5K Thomas Zimmer Cross Country Course in 17:09 and trailed only BYU's Cecily Lemmon (17:01) and Illinois' Angela Bizzarri (17:04) as the Blue Devils knocked off six ranked opponents for the team title.

The Blue Devils will return to action on Oct. 16, traveling to Charlottesville, Va., for the Virginia Invite.
