Blanche Ely alumnus and future Clemson hurdler, Jevon Williams, was named the 2019-2020 Florida Gatorade track and field athlete of the year.
Despite the short 2020 season, Williams was able to bring home a 6.41m long jump PR and remain undefeated in the 110m hurdles and the 300m hurdles.
Last season we saw the Blanche Ely star win the 3A 110m hurdle state title and set a new PR of 13.87 for the event at the Flo Golden South Classic. He also went on to win the 300m hurdles last season at the state meet with a 36.54 PR.

The No. 30 recruit for the class of 2020 volunteers for his church community and the Special Olympics as a youth track coach, according to Gatorade's press release.
