GREENSBORO, N.C. - For the second time this season, Duke junior Bo Waggoner has been named Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Cross Country Performer of the Week.
This past weekend, Waggoner placed third at the 24th Annual Roy Griak Invitational held at the Lee Bolstad Golf Course, completing the 8K race in 24:53. The Maumee, Ohio, native trailed only All-Americans Hassan Mead of Minnesota and Guor Majak of Iowa State to become Duke's highest finisher ever at the event. His top-three finish also helped the Blue Devils set a new program best at the Griak with a third-place team finish.
The Duke men's cross country team will return to action this weekend at the Great American Cross Country Festival on Saturday, Oct. 3.
