Laila Jones (Tri-City Relays) - 9 Year Old Shot Put
Laila Jones threw a seasons best of 29-2½ just short of the 9 Year Old National Record in the Shot Put. This is Jones third straight national title in the event as she won the 8 & Under Girls Shot Put the last two years setting the national record in that event. She'll compete in the Javelin later this week and was All-American yesterday in the Triathlon where she took 6th overall.
