Glen Allen and Central VA may have another star pole vaulter in the works. Last night freshman Meredith Baham finished as the runner-up in the pole vault with a 12-0.5 (3.67m) clearance in the vault. That marks moves her up to VA No. 6 on the season.
Her marks also ranks as one of the best all-time in Virginia for freshmen. The current state record for freshmen being Gracie Jauch's 12-6 from 2016.
