As a freshman, Wright clocked respectable times of 10.98 for the 100m Dash and 22.40 for the 200m Dash outdoors. Indoors his PR was 6.74 in the 55m Dash. Currently, Wright sits at US#6 after winning the NCHSAA 3A Indoor State Championships as a sophomore. Wright told us he got to the meet a little late, and barely made his prelim where he ran a PR of 6.42. Wright would go on to PR again in his title proving he was one of the best sprinters in the nation. The future is very bright for this young star as he heads to NBIN in a few weeks.
