DURHAM, N.C. – Two members of the Duke men's track and field team and one women's runner were named to the Division I All-Academic Track and Field Team, as selected by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Tyler Clarke and Ryan McDermott of the men's team and Anna Farias-Eisner of the women's squad represent Duke on the academic squads, which includes 327 NCAA Division I men's track and field athletes and 530 women's track and field athletes.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track and Field Team, the student-athlete must have compiled a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 and have met either the NCAA Division I Indoor automatic or provisional qualifying standard or the NCAA Division I Outdoor regional or national qualifying standard in their respective event.
