Randolph Ross 400m Dash - 47.58
Randolph Ross (Garner) improved on his NC#1 mark of 47.90 as he broke 48 seconds for the third time in the 400 of this season. Ross took the win in the 4A East in the 400, 200 in 21.59, High Jump at 6-8 and also ran on Garner's 4x100m Relay team. Can Ross win 4 events for Garner next weekend to bring home major team points in a highly contested team battle?
Ross is joined in the sub 48 second club by Bradon Black (Cuthbertson) who ran 47.82 at the NCHSAA 3A West Regional. Unfortunately we won't get to see these two matchup at the state championships, but hopefully will see the juniors battle head to head over the next two years.
