Jade Martin (Apex Friendship)
Last fall Jade Martin had a strong performance at Friday Night Lights running 20:28 taking 18th overall. She comes into the meet ranked 19th in out virtual meet, but I expect for her to challenge the top 10 tomorrow. She holds an XC PR of 19:14 and was 25th last fall at the 4A State Championships. On the track Martin ran 5:16 for the 1600. 15 seconds faster than 2016. She had an off race, or just tempo'd, at Wake County Kickoff but I think she's still in for a strong junior season.
