Cary Academy senior Tommy Bright is off to a hot start during his senior season. He kicked off the year with a 2nd place finish amongst his NCISAA rivals at WNC Carnival and a 22nd place finish against a strong Knights Crossing field where he PRed running 16:32. Last year was a big year for Bright where he finished 8th at the NCISAA 3A XC Championships and two 4th place finishes in the 1600 and 3200 at the outdoor state meet. Bright talks about how he got into running and how great its been to be apart of such a successful Cary Academy program.
