North Carolina's most recent XC All-Americans will be training together next year at the North Carolina State University. They will join the Wolfpack, despite being heavily recruited by a number of other big schools.

Patrick Campbell of Mooresville decided sometime towards the end of last week that he wanted to join the Wolfpack. Hickory's Ryan Hill verbally commited last night. Plenty was written about the two of them during the XC season, and if you paid attention at all you know this is a huge pickup for NC State. These two did something that had only been done once before in NC history - that is become XC All-Americans, together in the same year.
For Patrick it was a season of remarkable breakthroughs and for Ryan it was a bit of redemption after his Jr. year at Balboa Park. Both athletes are very excited about heading up to Raleigh.
I think Ryan said it best today in an email . . . "I'm really pumped that me and Patrick can bring NC State back to national prominence together."
Ryan plans to sign his letter of intent on Wednesday, the official "Signing Day". Patrick will then sign on Thursday.
The whole state will be watching that's for sure. Best of luck to both of them.
