The bridges and trails make the Weddington course one of the most scenic in the state, and the competition made the meet intense.
The varied terrain of this campus course handled the early-morning rain well, and the strong field of teams that attended provided excellent competition. Weddington's boys put together a very strong performance, led by Mitchell Resor's title run. On the girls' side, Cuthbertson came up with a signature win for such a young team, defeating an Ardrey Kell squad that has ambitions to be in the top 10 in the 4A state meet. Likewise for Natalie Andrejchak (Robinson), who has been near the front of several races this year; the senior asserted herself on this course to bring home her first major win of the 2014 season.
