On Thursday morning, Joanna Wright of RJ Reynolds will sign a national letter of intent to attend Georgia Tech next year. Joanna was the MVP of the 4A Indoor State Championships, and is the all-time North Carolina record holder in the indoor pole vault. Her current best vault of 12 feet leads the state this spring. Joanna is also the Reynolds school record-holder in the triple jump and long jump, and she has competed on a national level in the pentathlon and heptathlon.
