It has come to our attention that many schools are still struggling with the NCHSAA requirement to report all meet results to NCRunners. Although the rule is the same one that has been used the last two years for indoor season, and was piloted during the 2013 spring season, it may seem new to schools that do not field indoor teams or have different coaches for the two seasons. Only results properly submitted to NCRunners can be used for regional entries - there will be no "hand entering" of times as in past outdoor seasons. Results should be prepared through Hy-Tek or RaceTab, must be complete (all participants) and should include full names for each athlete. Host schools have the responsibility of preparing and submitting these results, unless there is an agreement among the teams attending the meet that another school will handle the results.

I learned today that fellow MileSplit webmaster Robert Kellert (who covers New Jersey) has produced a RaceTab tutorial video that he posted to YouTube. (Yes. it has been up there for 10 months and I didn't know about it - believe me, I'm quite embarassed about that.) If you're new to using RaceTab, or just looking for a few tips to streamline the process and save time, check out the video through the link below.
