Meet Information
Forsyth Country Day School is located in Lewisville which is on the northwest side of Winston-Salem and is easily accessible from I-40. Facility: Our 8-lane blue polyurethane track was installed in the summer of 2006, has two horizontal jumps runways, all UCS pits and hurdles, and all of the field events are located at one end of the facility. Field Events: Three entries per school will be allowed and your best two performances will be combined to determine your team performance, (i.e. Your high jumpers jump 6-2, 5-10, and 5-8, your team performance would be 12-0). Legal marks from two individuals are necessary for awards and scoring eligibility. Cost: $75/Girl's team, $75/Boys team, $5 for spectators. Awards: Medals will be given to the first three places in each event and trophies will be awarded to the top two Girls and Boys teams. Entries: Entries are to be emailed and are due Thursday, April 23 by Noon. Athletes are allowed to be entered in a maximum of 4 events, (including relays). You can scratch or change your relay personnel after your entries are submitted, but no additions will be allowed on Saturday. Tentative Time and Event Schedule: 9:15am Coaches Meeting. 10:00am Girl's and Boy's Long Jump - Cafeteria Style, (Each pit will be open for 60 minutes for your jumpers to get a maximum of three jumps. At 11:15am, the top 8 jumpers will receive three jumps in a reverse-order final). 10:00am Girl's High jump, Boy's Pole Vault, Girl's Discus, Boy's Shot Put - Opposite gender will begin their event 30 minutes after the conclusion of these respective events. 10:00am 4x800 Relay. 10:30am 4x200 Meter Relay. 11:00am Co-ed Shuttle Hurdles - Two Girls and two Boys. 11:15am Girl's and Boy's Long Jump Final. 11:20am Distance Medley Relay (1200m-400m-800m-1600m). 11:50am 100 Meters (Will be run in the direction with the most favorable wind). 12:00noon Girl's and Boy's Triple Jump - Cafeteria Style, (Each pit will be open for 60 minutes for your jumpers to get a maximum of three jumps. At 1:30pm, the top 8 jumpers will receive three jumps in a reverse-order final). 12:20pm 300 Meter Hurdles. 12:45pm 4x100 Meter Relay. 1:10pm Sprint Medley Relay (200m-200m-400m-800m). 1:15pm Girl's and Boy's Triple Jump Final. 1:30pm 4x1600 Meter Relay (Will run Girls and Boys together if fields are small). 2:10pm 4x400 Meter Relay.
