Meet Information

Meet Day Need-To-Know Info:

Parking: Spectator and coach vehicle parking willbe in the back parking lot off Lynn Avenue.Bus parking will be in the bus parking lot of Reid Ross Classical Schoolon Ramsey Street.

Entry Fees: $1.00 per person.We want to take care of our SROs and theoverhead for running this event.Please do not come at us with a "check is inthe mail" speech.It's a dollar akid!Place money in an envelope with your school's name on it and bring itto the finish-line tent when you arrive.

Admission is only $1.00 forspectators.

Concessions: We will have concessions available.These will include hotdogs, chips, a varietyof candy, sodas, Gatorade, water, etc.

The Uniform Rule will be relaxed, although we preferyou're a-team relays to match.

ATHLETE CHECK IN: Athletes will check in at the startingline for all laned races. For OVALS, check in will be at the north end of the football field under the goal posts. Check in for field events will be at the event.

  • We will have tables set up with the heatsheets taped on them.
  • It is the athlete's responsibility tocheck their heat and lane assignment.They will then find their heat by looking at the numbers on the conesnear the starting line (55H, 55m, 500m and 300m) or on the cones near the northgoal posts (1600, 1000, 3200 and all relays).The marshal will then make sure they are lined up.
  • At the discretion of the marshal, heatscould be condensed depending on scratches.
  • Field events will check in or scratch atthe event.
  • No write-ins!!! We do not have time to write in additionalathletes. To request one costs a fee of$1,000,000.

Heads up on bib numbers:

  • We will use a "write-on" bib numbersystem where your athletes will use a sharpie/permanent marker and write anassigned bib number on their arm and or hand to make finish line recordingeasier.One thing that really slowsmeets down is the recording process at the finish line.This expedites that situation.These bib numbers need to be LEGIBLE.Emphasizeneatness to your kids.
  • We will email rosters with bibassignments by Friday afternoon so you can have your athletes write these numbers on their armsNEATLY ahead of time on Saturday.It is easier to have them on before youget there.
  • Permanent marker, please.

Field Events:

Starting heights for HJ and PV to be determined at the Coaches' Meeting.

The Long Jump shall precede the Triple Jump for both boys and girls.

Girls'High Jump is before boys'.

Boys'Shot Put will precede girls'.

Each athlete will be allowed three (3) attempts.

Due to the large volume of entries, every athlete in field events will have their first measurable attempt recorded.After that, a minimum standard must be met.The mark for measurement will be announced at the coaches' meeting.

Track Events:

Girls will go first, followed by boys.At the discretion of the meet director, boys and girls can be combined in the distance events.The CORRECT order of events is listed below:
