The County Line Challenge 2017

Swain County Middle School will hold a middle school only meet at Tsali Recreational Area. The race will start and finish in the bike parking area. The majority of the course will be on the county line road trail. The course will be mostly gravel/dirt road and partially single track. We will have several volunteers along the trail as well as signs at turns to point kids in the right direction. There will be a coaches meeting at 4 p.m. The race will begin at 4:30 p.m. starting with the boys and the girls will immediately follow.

Registration is unlimited. We will only score the top 5 from each team.

We will give medals to the top three boys and top three girls. We will recognize the top 5 from each category. We will also give a trophy to the overall winning boys and girls teams.

We ask all buses and spectators to park at the Tsali boat access down the hill past the bike parking.

Getting Here:
From Bryson City, take US 74 west to
NC 28 west. Turn right and go five
miles, look for sign on right. The
recreation area is approximately two
miles north on Forest Road (FR) 1286.

From Robbinsville, take NC 143 to
NC 28. Turn right and travel east on
NC 28 for approximately nine miles
and look for the Tsali Recreation Area
sign. The recreation area is about two
miles north on FR 1286.
