Meet Information
The River Run Cross Country Invitational returns to Fisher River Park in Dobson, NC. This meet was a staple on the cross country schedule from 2006 to 2012, with many teams from the Piedmont-Triad and Northwest North Carolina attending each year.
Coaches will register their team and enter their athletes through www.athletic.net. Entry deadline is Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 11:59 pm.
Fisher River Park is just a 45 minute drive from Winston-Salem and an hour and half drive from Charlotte. It is easily accessible from Highway 52 N / 74 West and I-77.
The course is a great spectator course consisting of two 1 1/2 mile loops. The course is grass and granite dust, with rolling hills. The course was designed back in 2006 to be on the same difficulty level of the then Tanglewood Park State Meet Course.
The meet will consist of a boys and girls 3K Middle School Race and a boys and girls high school race. The entry fee is $50 per high school and $50 per middle school. If your school has both a middle and high school team the entry fee is $75. Unattached athletes are welcome and schools with less than five athletes pay $10 per individual athlete.
