@
kvsmith95 I'm still not following you. The updates (note: the title was "Live Updates", not "Live Results") WERE official and they WERE event by event. I was at the meet sending out the official results live, as they happened (plus adding updates from Virginia Tech as their results were posted). If you didn't like the feature, I can understand and respect that. I target many different groups, and some favor one aspect of coverage over another. But perhaps you were looking for the live updates to be something that they were not intended to be (and, in fact, something that the Twitter format could never be). In the absence of sitting at my laptop all day (which would be impossible at JDL due to the lack of a public wireless signal), Twitter provides the best platform for instantaneous results. Perhaps in the future meet management will post live results event-by-event in much the same way that the Durham Striders do (which can be done through MileSplit, by the way), and that might fit your vision a little better.
In any case, I do value feedback that is presented politely, as yours has been. Thanks for that!
