NC Well Represented at Foot Locker and NXN Regionals

With the Foot Locker South and NXN Southeast Regionals this weekend, the state of North Carolina will be a bit spread out.

The Green Hope girls and the TC Roberson girls look to have legit shots at moving onto Portland, especially if Green Hope runs the way they did this past weekend (see below). Look for an individual or two and quite possibly a team to make it to Portland from the NXN Regional in Cary.

Foot Locker is strictly about the individuals and NC has some of the best. Currently, there are 3 girls ranked among the nations best. Laura Hoer of Roberson will compete with her team at the NXN Regional, hoping to qualify individually if her team doesn't make it. Wesley Frazier of Ravenscroft and Carolyn Baskir of East Chapel Hill will both compete at the Foot Locker race with high hopes of making it to San Diego.

On the boys side, a number of boys have shots and if they can bring down their personal bests about 10-20 seconds, should be in the mix for the top 10.
