Laney's Natalie Tyner Moves To NC#4 All-Time Great American Performance

Natalie Tyner had another strong performance at Great American eclipsing 18 minutes for the third time this season running 17:37 for fourth overall.  Tyner went up against an elite field and continued to succeed showing that she is indeed the top girls in North Carolina at this point in the season.

Tyner's 17:37 was the fastest of any North Carolina girl today at Great American and improves 3 seconds on her state lead.  Her 17:37 also puts her in elite company only trailing Carolyn Baskir, Ryen Frazier and Elly Henes all time at Great American, and she's only a junior!

Tyner will look to win her first individual state title this fall and will then have her sights set on Foot Locker South where she'll look to place in the top 10 to advance to the national meet.  She certainly proved today that she is capable of doing so this fall.
