Can These Hare & Hounds Meet Records Be Touched This Weekend?

Hare & Hounds Invitational has quickly emerged as one of North Carolina's biggest meets.  This weekend nearly 100 high school teams and around 40 middle school teams will head to McAlpine.  Last year Sara Platek (Ragsdale, Duke) broke Jenna Gearing's (White County, GA) meet record by one second clocking 18:01!  This year we've already seen Sarah LaTour (Cuthbertson) run 18:16, will she be able to beat Platek's record?  On the boys side Brent Demarest (Porter Gaud, SC) set the meet record in 2013 clocking 15:09 in a battle with Austin Sprague (St. Pius X, GA) who ran 15:10.  Both Platek and Demarest went on to make Foot Locker Nationals following their Hare & Hounds meet record performances.
