What's the one thing Apex Friendship needs? A solid senior leader to be a frontrunner, and Provost should provide that for them. Last year he qualified for the state meet out of the Mideast regional individually both in cross country and outdoor track. He was 12th and 44th at the regional and state meet last fall running a PR of 16:01 at the regional. On the track Provost showed a lot of improvement running 4:20 and 9:29. With Provost wanting to step up and lead Apex Friendship to the state meet for the first time in school history I think he's going to step up his game significantly this fall.
