#4 Natalie Tyner
Natalie Tyner was one of the bigger surprises early last XC season after running 17:59 dominating her Jungle Run competition. Tyner went on to improve from 26th to 7th at the state championships last fall winning every other race of the season. On the track Tyner ran 5:03 in the 1600 and 10:48 for the 3200. She also earned 13th place at nationals running 17:53 on the track. Tyner was 2nd in the 3200 at the outdoor 4A state meet and returns last the top girl in NC based off time. I think Tyner could be the top girl in the state, but she's going to have to take down some girls ranked ahead of her to prove it.
