NCHSAA 4A Girls Indoor State Championships Preview

Team Battle

Southeast Raleigh enter as 14 point favorites in our virtual meet over High Point Central with a score of 73-59.  But even though we've seen excellence from High Point Central throughout the season, I don't think they've meet their full potential just yet.  Southeast brings in a lot of points from the sprints, field and relays while High Point Central is mainly just sprints and relays.  They'll need Tamara Clark to sweep the 55/300 and Monzerad Creary to have a big day in the 500, but I think it will come down to the 4x400 between these two teams.  Reagan comes in third in the virtual meet with 55 points, but that will be hard to maintain as 45 of the points come from three distance runners and the other 10 from their 4x800.  Rocky River girls do have potential to finish in the top 2, but need a huge day from Kenya Livingston in the HJ, TJ and LJ and a massive day from their relays to be in consideration.
