Welcome the New Webmaster: Jason Creasy

I am very proud to introduce you to Jason Creasy, the next Webmaster of NCRunners! He brings tremendous experience to the job: he has been one of our regular reporters for a little over three years now, working local meets in the Charlotte area all the way up to major national meets.  He has also been assistant webmaster during the 2015-2016 school year, taking on some of the publishing load in addition to meet coverage.  Along the way, he has already performed most of the behind-the-scenes tasks that a webmaster has to do, and I am confident he will smoothly take over full operation of the site over the next couple of months.

For all practical purposes, Jason took ownership of the site during New Balance Nationals a few weeks ago.  That's when he started making plans for what he wanted to do this summer and in the fall, and since then his publishing has stepped up quite a bit.  In fact, for the last two weeks I've found myself asking him when he wants my articles published, instead of the other way around - which is different, but definitely good.  And I think that phrase defines exactly where the site is headed under Jason: he won't do things the same way I did, but what he plans to do will be good.

As for me, I'll still be around.  I will support Jason as he grows into the job during the school year, and I will still be working meets in North Carolina and around the South.  I can only hope that all the tremendous NCRunners fans out there will give Jason as much support during this transition of leadership as they have given me over the last five years!
