We wanted to highlight our North Carolina Alums that have moved on and become All-Americans on the next stage. First Team All-American is earned by a top 8 finish, and Second Team All-American is dictated by a top 16 finish.
Current Clemson sprinter, formerly of Granville Central Tevin Hester capped off his seniors season with a 6th place finish in the 60m and 200m.
Formerly of Harnett Central and Elon, as a current grad student at NC State Luis Vargas finished 5th in the 5000m and 7th in the 3000m.
Jonathan Addison of NC State, formerly of Enloe narrowly missed taking home an NCAA title with a second place performance in the long-jump by .75 meters.
Granville Central alum and current USC Gamecock Briana Haith took 13th in the 400m running 53.41.
Green Hope alum Ryan Walling, a grad student at Ole Miss, formerly of UNC took home a 7th place finish in the 5000m.
Jordan-Matthews HS Alum Maurice Eaddy, currently at NC A&T finished 13th in the 60m Dash.
NC State thrower Nicole Chavis formerly of Lumberton HS, took 5th place in the weight throw with a throw of 69-08.75.
