It's that time again track fans! This year the first state meet is the 3A classification, and there's enough talent in this meet to make this a tough act to follow. If it seems like the season just started, well, you're not alone in feeling that way. The difficult weather in March forced a late start on nearly everyone, and you can see it reflected in the level of performance across the state. None of that matters now, though - the state meet is all about place, even if the competition does regularly push people to top performances.

Although there is a slight chance of rain during the day, it looks like Greensboro is going to dodge the storms that are threatening the regional meets in the Eastern part of the state. With the temperatures forecast to crack 80 degrees, it should be one of the better days of this highly unusual season. Flip through the slides to see some of the athletes and teams to watch at Friday's meet!
